Thanks for popping over from Twitter! You found me as @AngieSix on Twitter, now welcome to my home on the Internet, Just Like The Number.
I started Just Like The Number in 2006 as a way to keep in touch with the friends and family I’d left behind in Tennessee following a move to Indianapolis. What started out as a rambling journal with pictures here and there slowly morphed into a blog with a purpose. Just Like The Number is everything I love – motherhood, marriage, family, food, photography and my Hoosier home – reflected upon and written about honestly.
What’s up with the name? Just Like The Number comes from a phrase I repeat nearly every time I meet someone new. When you have a last name as simple, yet as unusual, as Six, it tends to confuse people. So I’m Angie Six: just like the number.
I’ve been writing for a long time, but these are my Top 6 All-Time Favorite Posts:

Still want more? Read more about me, my family, and the blog here. If you like what you see, then you definitely want to subscribe to Just Like The Number via RSS or email, that way you never miss a single, life-changing post. You can also find me writing on my other blog, The Risky Kids.
If you’re here for more business-like reasons, I’m open to blog advertising, reviews, sponsored posts, giveaways, PR relationships, media buys, and brand ambassadorship programs. Freelance writing, conference sponsorships and personal appearances will also be considered. Please contact me at justlikethenumber@gmail.com for further consideration.
