We planted two peony bushes late last spring – too late to enjoy the blooms. This spring they're full of luscious, sweetly-perfumed blooms. This was my favorite photo of the week. You can see the rest of my daily photos over at Project 3(six)5. Here are my favorite reads from around the web this week:
As I get my list of summer activities together for the kids, I'm adding "Make Tin Can Telephones" under the category of Wicked Fun Crafts. From Made By Joel, via ohdeedoh
NieNie's video, "My New Life," is simply the most moving testimonial I've seen. She is so beautiful.
Asparagus season is in full swing here. This is how I'm eating mine, minus the steak. It's delicious, even if Mike thinks it stinks up the entire house. Via Serious Eats
If this Painter's Tape Roadway from my friend Jen at 4tunate can keep her quads busy, surely it can entertain Eli. And seeing how his collection of Matchbox cars increases every time he poops on the potty, we're pretty close to having our very own fleet.

I expect to see some photos of the kiddies using the tin can telephones a la the Made by Joel site, lady.

The tape roadway looks like fun! I think Nathan would love that too! 🙂

Love the painter’s tape roadway idea. Wonder if I could somehow work princesses into that game? If so, I might have a winner for my girls…

I just picked up a peony at the Hamilton Co Plant Sale yesterday and am just waiting to find the perfect place to plant it in our yard. Very excited!
Love love love asparagus!! We went to The Roost for Mother’s Day breakfast and they had a special omelette on the menu that included asparagus and dill and chicken and swiss. So yummy!
