So this moving thing is really happening. Every day the stacks of boxes multiply like frisky rabbits. Every day I get a little more anxious, a little more excited.
I still can’t give you all the details, as we’ve gone about this entire process in a bass ackward kind of way. Here’s what I can tell you. We’ve sold our house and will be moving out in just about two weeks. We’re in the process of purchasing a home we adore in a neighborhood we’re over the moon about. Barring any crazy developments, we should be able to move in our new home in mid-March. In the meantime, thanks to the generosity of friends, we’ll be living in a house in Westfield for a few weeks.
I hate change and I hate disrupted routines, so I know this is going to be a trying February and March for my delicate nature! As stressful as it is, I know how lucky we are to be in this situation – to have a home that sold quickly and to have a home we are excited to move into. And just when those frisky rabbits emerge from their dens, we’ll be emerging from our boxes. I can’t wait to share our new home with you!

You’re a survivor. Stock up on paper plates. Don’t pack the corkscrew, in fact, keep it in your purse so it’s handy. It’s all good.

BEST comment of the year, neighbor 😉 Read it at work on my lunch and snorted for all the break room to hear.

I second all that Ann-Marie said 😉
Good luck and God bless, honey! Change is exciting, even if it’s stressful.

Congrats girl! I hate feeling out of sorts and in an in between place. Embrace the tension and push through. At least February is a short month? 😉
