I have never, not once, in my 35 years of living, had a picture taken for a photo ID that I liked. It's not for lack of trying. Makeup on, chin up, smile . . . and Click! Helloooo, horrible photo. Somehow I don't think Elena's going to have this problem. Seven years old and she's working it for her Safety ID Card.
At least if she ever goes missing she'll have a killer photo for her Amber Alert. Just between you and me, she totally lied about her weight. At least we'll always have that in common.
