As I prepare to hit "Publish," we are basking in the glow of two fine NCAA games that ended with our teams on top. The Butler Bulldogs are headed to the Final Four, right here in their hometown of Indianapolis! On a colder surface, the Miami Redhawk hockey team won the first game in their quest to return to the Frozen Four again this year. We had a blast watching them play a few weeks ago and would love to see them bring Miami their very first national championship. Love that March Madness! While you're in between games, why not check out a few of my favorite things from around the web?
Playgroup is at my house on Monday, and I hope the girls don't mind if I give this Breakfast Pizza from Smitten Kitchen a try.
Even though this is my second time around, I really appreciated the tips in The Parenting Passageway's "So How Do I Live Peacefully With My Two-Year-Old?"
I did say this was the NCAA edition, after all, so I have to include "64 Great Foods in 64 College Towns" from Serious Eats. I heartily agree that you should try Mug-n-Bun here in Indy and Graeter's ice cream in Cincinnati. I would so plan my kid's college visits around this post.
Spring Break is right around the corner. Hopefully the weather conditions will cooperate so the kids and I can make some these kites I found at maya*made
