Flamingobear is at the top of my very short list of favorites. Yes, it's written by my friends, Tim and Jenn Martin. Yes, I would care about their lives regardless of whether they blogged about it or not. But I'm telling you, if I didn't know them from Adam and I found their little spot of goodness on the web by accident? I'd be hooked. Through careful words and beautiful pictures, you get to know a family who is taking a slightly different path through life and having fun with it.
Recently Jenn, who is a phenomenal cook, started writing more often about the food she prepares for her family. She did a series a couple of weeks back about homemade pizza. I've never been able to make a decent pie at home. That all changed after I read her series and did what the good cook told me to do.
I encourage you to check them out. And when you do, and you see that kind mention that Tim gave me the other day? It's not some devious plan that we hashed up to send each other more readers. Total freaky coincidence. I had this post written well over a week ago and just hadn't gotten around to posting it yet. It just means I love them even more! I think you will, too.

Thanks for the shout-out, Angie! Wow – you’re way too kind, but then again, that’s what I like about you. Glad to hear that you’ve joined me on the path to pizza perfection. As always, I’m looking forward to the next post by Mrs. Six. By the way, the thong one is hilarious!

Dang, like I needed ANOTHER blog in my reader! (But this one does look worthwhile!)
I can’t find where to subscribe, but I have only had ONE cup of coffee…
Thanks for sharing!

Amo… thanks for checking out flamingobear. You can subscribe at http://www.flamingobear.com/feed/ and you’ve also inspired me to make that a little more obvious to folks.
Also, a trick for you. If you see a blue RSS icon in the address bar of your browser, you can generally click on it and it will give you a chance to subscribe as well! I encourage you all to go do that here on justlikethenumber…

I have a few blogs near and dear to my heart that I just hope and pray everyday that they update. I don’t think 63 is too many – especially if you’re willing to forgo reading every post to live your real life.

I don’t think 63 is too many. I never counted how many I have in my Reader and I have 60! Wow. So I know how Amo feels about finding yet another *great* site to add.
