The Science Fair Awards were this morning and Elena earned first place among the kindergartener’s in her class! We’re so proud of her! In the picture (sorry, it’ not the best pic), the directress of the school, Mrs. Lyman, is trying to get Elena to tell everyone about her project. We braced ourselves for an Oscar-type speech, complete with the music coming in to cut her off. Not to worry, she was so enthralled with the blue ribbon she could barely be bothered to talk about her project. This girl knows how to make her former-scientist momma proud.
