30 days. 30 posts. A snapshot of our everyday life. I got the idea from a really wonderful blog I follow called SouleMama (http://soulemama.typepad.com) I feel like so often I try to cram 3 weeks worth of highlights into one little post. Meanwhile all these sweet little moments (and not so sweet!) are flitting by everyday. This is my attempt to capture these moments and appreciate them. I hope you enjoy them and think about your everyday moments that piece together to form your wonderful, everyday life as well.
For Day 1 we have Valentines. I found this kit from Hearthsong that has everything you need to make your own Valentines. I was a teensy bit worried that Elena would get overwhelmed at the prospect of making 25 Valentines herself, and was prepared to help out. Silly me . . . she’s been super excited and has made some of the cutest, funniest cards I’ve ever seen. My favorite so far? Probably a cross between:
"Red berries are red, Blueberries are blue. Termites (???) are sweet, And you are too"
or "Get lovein!"
I might just have to make my sweetie one.

I love the 30 days, 30 posts idea. We try, occasionally, to give a picture of everyday life, but rarely succeed. Sites like dooce.com that force that on themselves can be some of the most interesting. Even if you miss a day, keep shooting. We’ll love whatever we get.
