We had our spring conference with one of Elena’s teachers recently and she passed on this little tidbit.
One day the kids were all sitting on the line (circle time) and Mrs. Bowe read a book about anger and how to handle angry feelings. She went around to each kid and asked them to tell something that made them mad and how they could handle it. She got to Elena . . .
"It makes me mad when my baby brother or sister that isn’t born yet plays with my toys. I could put all my things where they baby can’t get them."
I guess we should be thankful that the only thing the child has to worry about is essentially a year and a half away.
