I haven’t been blogging much about being pregnant, mostly because it hasn’t seemed real to me yet. Well, today I had my ultrasound and lo and behold there’s a baby in there! Between that and actually seeing my belly move last night, I think I’m convinced that I’m getting huger and huger cuz I’m pregnant, not because of girl scout cookies.
In other news, we’re in the middle of spring break here in Indiana. I think it would feel more like a break if Elena had actually spent any legitimate time in school last week. We were both sick, and she was in school for a grand total of 4 hours last week. So it’s feeling a tad more like a "Keep Your Preschooler Entertained" Marathon rather than spring break. Elena and I made a list last week of things we might want to do this week. After reeling her in a little ("Go to South America!), we came up with a decent list. Things we’ve checked off so far? The Children’s Museum, seeing a movie (Meet the Robinsons), bike ride, going to the park, playing in her tent. We’ve yet to "wotch a chik" or "see u pupit show." If I’m feeling extra adventurous, we may head up to Chicago and visit a museum. But only if we can work in lunch at IKEA 🙂
