It wasn’t quite the big blizzard we’ve been hoping for, but we did get a nice blanket of snow today. The big difference between a couple inches of snow here versus Nashville? This little chicky you see here had school today! Out of habit, the first thing I did this morning was to check for school closings. Nada. Praise God, too, since between her normal days off and MLK Day we were both hankering for something bigger than these four walls. I wished I still had my TN plates on my car this morning, since the people behind me were probably cursing me up and down for going so slow.
After school Elena was dying to play in the inch of snow that hadn’t melted. She filled a couple of bowls full of snow and after dinner we made snow ice cream. It’s not half bad, though I couldn’t help but wonder how clean it really was.
In other big news, we are headed to the AFC Playoff game this Sunday. The Colts will face the Patriots in the dome, and we’ll be there. Brady and his little butt chin are goin’ down!
And finally, the biggest news of all . . .
Version 6.2 should be arriving at the Six household in mid-August. In other words, looks like we’re having a baby! I had my first check-up today and I was able to hear the heartbeat. We’re all very excited.
Go Colts!

Hey Six Family!!
You know, a while ago you called me and told me you had news. I was thrilled, thinking you were expecting a baby… but NOOOOOOOOooooo, the news was that you were moving! While I’m bummed you aren’t in town anymore, I’m very happy that you are NOW expecting and even happier that we are back in touch.
Thanks for the super sweet Christmas card… let’s catch up in email.
Nikki
PS – I had no idea you were such a Colts fan. I won’t hold it against ya tho!! 😉

Awe CONGRATULATIONS! How exciting for you guys and Elena -soon to be a big sister. She’s just adorable.
Angie, this site is really cool. Such great story telling…it’s so engaging. Honest to god I think you’re missing your calling as a writer 🙂
More excitment for you since the Colts are now in the big one! I’m not much of a “foozball” fan myself but Maya follows her daddy’s team – the Steelers.
I hope all else is well. We’re doing good.
Congrats again. Take care.
