A very rudimentary attempt at a blog. Since we moved I’ve been wanting to figure out a way to do this, so we can stay in touch with friends and family in the easiest way possible. So here’s my attempt. Bear with me, I’m so clueless it’s not even funny. We’ll just see where it goes.
Elena and I just got back from a trip to Nashville. It was crazy-busy, trying to cram in as many visits as possible in one visit. We were able to visit with Tina, Caitlyn and Rob from playgroup (in an insanely busy Chick-fil-a where I also managed to see at least 4 girls from our old Sunday school class). Elena spent 2 mornings at her old Montessori school. We got to meet Benjamin Abramson for the very first time, who is just as adorable as his big brother, Thomas. We had quick but fun visits with Tanelle and Kira, The Nashabis, and Lynn, Ellie and Theo. We stayed with my brother, which means Elena got to follow her beloved cousin Zach around like a puppy dog. Distance has only made her heart grow fonder -she told Zach she loved him at least 10 times a day. While most 13-year-olds would rather vomit, he takes it all in stride. The highlight was getting to see Zach perform in a play for his youth group Saturday night. Elena was mesmerized and gave him a standing ovation.
Mike stayed behind and managed to play all the poker he wanted and do the one thing on the honey-do list: paint the room in our entry. It looks great – the mirros and the lovely shade of pink are no more. Once we actually get some furniture in there I’ll post some pictures.
Love to All!
Angie
